About The Author

An experienced educator and authority on children's literature, Theresa Fagan is the oldest of thirteen children, mother of eight, and grandmother of sixteen. She grew up in a home filled with books and no TV, a way of life that she and her husband, Patrick, passed on to their children. For years she and Patrick worked with parents in the area of character education, which deepened her insights into children’s literature. She is the author of A Mother’s List of Books, a guide to wholesome family reading.
